Seller questions

Selling on Long Island's South Shore, answered.

How should I prepare my home before listing?
Start with the things buyers notice first: clear out clutter, fix small repairs, freshen the paint and the front of the house, and clean deeply before photos. Just as important on Long Island, make sure additions, decks, finished basements and pools have the permits and certificates your town or village requires. Here's the full checklist.
What is my home worth?
The most reliable answer comes from what comparable homes nearby actually sold for recently, adjusted for your home's size, condition and features. Request a free home valuation and Brandon will prepare one from recent local sales.
How long will it take to sell my home?
In September 2026, single-family homes in Nassau and Suffolk counties went under contract in about 40 days on average (OneKey MLS). Price, condition and the time of year all move that number, and Brandon will give you a realistic range for your street.
Can I sell and buy at the same time?
Yes, with planning. Common ways to line them up include making your purchase contingent on your sale, negotiating closing dates that fit together, or arranging a short rent-back so you can stay in your home after it closes. Brandon times both sides so you only move once.
I'm moving out of state. Can you still help?
Yes. Brandon can sell your Long Island home and plan the timing around your move. See moving out of state for how it works.

“Working with Brandon was a pleasure. He helped me & my husband buy our first home. The process can be pretty challenging and frustrating especially in this market, but Brandon was so knowledgeable about the whole process, and most of all he was patient. He really guided us through everything with ease. Answered every question, addressed every concern (and there were plenty). Drove all over to show us houses until we found the one we loved, then he helped us secure it! He was always very communicative and available which is so important, especially once you put in an offer. He was never pushy or trying to gloss anything over. He was up front and honest with us about everything. Even after closing he still checked in with us! I would recommend him to anyone I know who’s looking out on Long Island. Thank you, Brandon!”
