Buyer questions

Buying on Long Island's South Shore, answered.

Are home prices on Long Island going to come down?
No one can promise that either way, so here are the numbers instead. In Nassau County the median single-family sale price was $560,000 in September 2019 and $860,000 in September 2026, and it was higher every September in between (OneKey MLS). This September's rise, 2.1% from a year earlier, was the smallest in that stretch, and the number of homes for sale was about level with last year. Read the full breakdown.
Do I need a real estate attorney in New York?
In New York, the buyer and the seller each usually have their own real estate attorney. The attorneys draft and review the contract, handle the title work and run the closing. Brandon can suggest local attorneys and works alongside yours from accepted offer to closing day.
Do you work with first-time buyers?
Yes. Brandon walks first-time buyers through every step: touring homes, writing an offer, inspections, the contract and closing day, with answers to every question along the way.
Can you help me buy a co-op or a condo?
Yes. Co-ops and condos work differently from houses. Buying into a co-op needs approval from the building's board, which usually means a detailed application and an interview, and condos have their own rules and monthly common charges. Brandon helps you understand each building's process before you make an offer.
How do new listing alerts work?
Tell Brandon the towns, price range and must-haves you care about, and he sets up a search that sends you matching homes as soon as they're listed. Set up your alerts.

“Working with Brandon was a pleasure. He helped me & my husband buy our first home. The process can be pretty challenging and frustrating especially in this market, but Brandon was so knowledgeable about the whole process, and most of all he was patient. He really guided us through everything with ease. Answered every question, addressed every concern (and there were plenty). Drove all over to show us houses until we found the one we loved, then he helped us secure it! He was always very communicative and available which is so important, especially once you put in an offer. He was never pushy or trying to gloss anything over. He was up front and honest with us about everything. Even after closing he still checked in with us! I would recommend him to anyone I know who’s looking out on Long Island. Thank you, Brandon!”
